It was the best from all my experiences in Bulgaria.By far the most quiet and relaxing vacation. Panorama Fort Beach was the best choice for an affordable price. The hotel has about 10 pools, we had one with the waves exactly at the exit of the block we stayed. The room was equiped with everything you need and the kitchen had the same facilities. At every 3 nights the staff changed the towels. In the complex there are 3 restaurants and a market also with affordable prices. In my opinion it is a very good choice for a family with kids, far from the noise.
We stayed here for 10 nights in June . We were blown away with the selection of pools in the resort . A stone throw away from the beach . Beautiful restaurant on site , supermarket is reasonably priced and stocks the basics you need .
Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean , well equipped and very spacious .
The staff are excellent and helpful .
We are returning next year and will be staying here as it was Perfect for our needs .
A short 5 minute taxi to st vlas .
We stayed at Panorama Fort for 8 days with my partner and another couple with one 7 year old child in a 2 Bed, 2 Bathroom airconditioned, 2 Balkanies and a kitchen/Living room. First of all the complex is very clean, many cleaners walking around day in day out cleaning the rooms and the complex ( they will clean your room for extra cost) The complex has 3 restaurants (good for what it is but I recommend going into town) 2 shops where you can buy allmost anything (prices are quite good so no need to look for anything cheaper) another shop with water equipment( also very good value) 1 currency exchange (good exchange rate but 8% commision so you can find better but watch out as alot of them will try to do you over) also includes a sauna, spa tennis and a number of activities but all at extra cost. many pools that you can use free of charge ( very good wave pool in the middle (1.9m depth in places) and also during the day the small beach areas are open to soak in the sun and swim in the sea.
The reception is very good and usefull, all speak very good english. there is wifi but expensive 5 euros per day for the slowest one but the more days you buy upfront the cheaper it gets.
free car park infront with monitoring so cars are safe if you drive.
everything is in the apartments other then washing machines so handwashing cloths.
Beautiful views of the sea and on a nice day you can see Turkey, Very quiet at night as 23:00 is curfew. Also take advantage of the Free buses to the massive Aquapark in Nessebar, Aquapark open 10-18 38lev(16£ adult allday entrance) bus stop right in front of the complex.
My recommadations are:
- watch out for taxi drivers as they all try to rip you off ( I paid 90levs from Bourgas Airport 45km and i was told that was a ripp off, My first quote at the airport was 140lev/50euros. Most taxi drivers arent very nice.
- watch yourself as there isnt alot of police around, ( 8days there and i saw only 3 cop cars)
- if you decide to cook yourself buy the more expensive meats for supermarkets like "ZORA" as we bought some really dodgy meat from penny market even though its a supermarket itself. there are 9 ZORAs in the area.
