Google mapping directions will get you to this point. Head north on Forest Road 3N02.

2. Left on 3N10

As you head west on 3N10, the road gradually get more difficult.

3. Official Starting Point of John Bull Trail

You'll reach a clearing where the difficult part begins.

4. Views Through the Trees

You continue to climb though challenging boulder fields. Views through the trees on the right.

5. High Point

You climb above 8,100 feet.

6. Camp Spots with Views

Great camp spots through this area with views.

7. Difficult Portion Ends

Sign marks the end of trail where difficult portion ends. Continue south on improving road.

8. Left on 3N16

Connect with better Road 3N16 and head east back to point where you started.

9. Holcomb Creek Campground

On left is Forest Service Holcomb Creek Campground.
