Sometimes a tourist, always a traveller.
Prague is a city of incredible beauty and sophistication. With a remarkable history and culture to rival any other 'Central' (don't let the locals hear you call it 'Eastern') or Western European capital you'll find Prague to be an intriguing and welcoming place. It's a surprising city with remarkable scientific and musical history along with cobbled lanes and fantastic al fresco dining in the town square. You can easily enjoy this city in just three days but you'll long for more.

The clock is a very special place. One of a few of its kind in the world. You can view from outside and go into the tower.

It's all about TrdelnĂk. You must try one. This isn't the only bakery but it's one of the best and has a lovely atmosphere. A cross between a donut and a pretzel. Lovely

While it's a bit touristy it's still a phenomenal bridge. There are lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby too. Also provides a nice view of the castle and river.

A magnificent square surrounded by cafes, restaurants, galleries and street food. Very much recommend spending some time here.

This is a bit of fun for the kiddies. It's not too hard to walk up to Petrin tower but the Funicular adds something to the trip. The ticket machines are a bit finicky and you'll need coins. Staff are friendly and helpful but can get overwhelmed by long queues in summer.

Mini Eiffel. Well worth the walk up for the view of the park, city and castle.

Lovely castle with interesting tours and streets nearby.

In the middle of the park this restaurant provides an excellent dining experience. Friendly staff, good food but expensive for some.

Excellent gelato, friendly service and good proximity to park and castle.

You won't get many opportunities to see these weapons up close let alone fire them. Well run with safety a top priority. Not cheap, but a one time experience.

Exquisite building with incredible architecture. Guided tours every day.

Hidden restaurant in a quiet back street. We had a very nice goulash meal here. Not nouvelle cuisine - just good comfort food.
