    To anyone interested in Heritage buildings and superb architecture a visit to the Block Arcade is a must. The Arcade is the finest example of a 19th Century shopping arcade, modeled on Milan's grand Galleria Vittorio Emanuele it was erected between 1891 - 1893. it featured a richly decorated interior with spectacular mosaic tiled floors, a magnificent glass canopy with carved stone finishing. The Arcade is situated at 282 Collins Street andconnects Collins Street to Little Collins Street. It now houses Boutiques and Cafes of which principal residents are the famous Hopetoun Tea Rooms and Haig's Chocolates. A wonderful place to visit which also holds Foodie tours twice weekly which are worth considering.

    Luna Park has been entertaining patrons for 100 years and is fun for all the family both young and old. Easily reached by tram or car it is worth seeing. Ride on the Big Dipper that runs on the outside of the park and gives an unbelievable view of Port Phillip Bay, try also Power Surge or Silly Serpent for extra thrills. It has great historic background Close to transport, tram goes right past door and a short distance away is Acland street that is well worth a look.

    A World Heritage listed building completed in 1880 and the Great Hall was the largest building in Australia. People interested in architecture will find the building a must to visit for it was constructed using Bzyantine, Romanesque, Lombardic and Renaissance Italian influences.
