I love to come to these botanical gardens first thing in the morning before the cruise ship and day tripper crowds arrive. There are beautiful painted Maillorca benches where you can sit and snuggle as you take in the 180-degree panoramic views.
When you're in search of a romantic day at the beach, look no further than Marina Piccola, which has a number of beach clubs to chose from. At the high end is the Scoglio delle Sirene, while El Merendero is a terrific budget option. There are also two small areas on either side of Scoglio delle Sirene that are free.
The Swedish Doctor, Axel Munthe, who once called Villa San Michele home, immortalized the spot in his 1929 book, 'The Story of San Michele.' Today, a visit here is still like walking into a fairytale. The gardens and views are simply spectacular.
Hang on tight to your honey as you climb up hundreds of meters on the chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro, passing over private homes and gardens along the way. The views over the bay of Naples and towards Sorrento are worth facing any fear of heights.
This rustic park is not far from the Punta Carena Lighthouse. Dotted by plaques bearing inspiring quotes from 60 different philosophers, it is an uplifting place to wander — and a perfect spot to take in the sunset.
Over the years, I have collected ceramics from all of my travels. I love to host dinner parties on plates and trays that I have collected, a great way to remember what a wonderful time I had in each place. This family-owned shop in Anacapri is the place to start or add to your own collection. Every time you take out the treasure you purchased here, you'll recall memories of a romantic trip to Capri.
Are you holed up in a private villa and want to enjoy a romantic night on the terrace? Capri Pasta can take care of dinner for you. This shop sells delicious fresh pastas, salads, and prepared dishes.
Traveling with a beer lover? This bar at the edge of Anacapri is home to the island's only craft beer, Birra di Capri. Each beer is named after a bewitching siren.
This pretty restaurant serves delicious dishes made with ingredients grown and raised on its own property. With a wine list that is one of the island's best, and staff who will treat you like family, Da Tonino is the perfect setting for a romantic dinner.
For those looking to dress up and date like the A-list crowd, Taverna Anema e Core is THE nightlife spot on Capri. Models, movie stars, and those traveling by private yacht all don their finest frocks for evenings out here.
