Arnaud F's City Tips

  • The city center is full of small cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a light lunch break.
  • It is often cloudy or rainy in Lille. Make sure you carry a rain jacket and/or umbrella with you.
  • The city of Lille offers a very affordable bike-rental service. Bikes can be rented for the day from bike stations, which can be found every 300 meters in the city.

Although it is not an 'attraction' in the strict sense of the word, V'Lille is a service that makes exploring outdoors easy and fun. There are rental locations throughout the city, so you can pick up a bike, ride awhile, and then drop it off near your destination.
