Points of Interest

1. Nice Trail

The trail is obvious and well-marked. Often, you'll find interpretive rangers hiking this trail. Ask them any questions, they're very knowledgable and friendly.

2. Views of Mt. Olympus

Look southwest for a view of the Olympic Range, deep in the heart of the park.

3. Chukkar!

A species of partridge, the chukkar is at home at high elevations.

4. Pernicious Rodents

Snack-stealin' fuzzy little bastards. Don't let them in your pack, they'll find all the treats.

5. Summit Marker

Summit marker placed in 1940

6. Less Pernicious Rodents

Marmots aren't so bad, they just want a little peace and some sun. And lots of plants.
