My husband and I have a very full itinerary the day we will be checking in. It may be around 10pm. The website I booked on states that there is no front desk and that you need to set up late check in beforehand. Is this true? I don't want to end up with nowhere to stay :/
It is a wonderful Farmhouse b and b so I'd make every effort to arrive at a reasonable time and in daylight.
This is a small B&B, not a hotel so there is no front desk. You literally drive up to a house in the middle of fields/farmland, park and knock on the door (or be met at the door if they are expecting you at that time).
The carpark area is all concrete with a low brick wall fence so easy to park and just a few steps away from the entrance so easy to get to/bring your bags in.
I will say that our car sat nav was terrible so we used Google maps on our phone. After turning off the main road and past a few houses, you do start travelling down a country road surrounded by fields but its only for a minute or so and then you arrive. I say this only because I dont know when you are travelling and how dark it will be at 10pm.
