We are staying in a superior room in taganana block and wonder next time if it's worth paying extra for a suite overlooking the seafront and how much extra this would cost, the hotel is stunning and as it's our first time here it would be helpful to hear other guests views

I'm currently here staying in a presidential suite close to the sea front. It's fabulous! The view is amazing and the terrace is huge. It isn't noisy as one reviewer (who hasn't stayed in one)has suggested they think they might be. It depends on your budget I guess. All the rooms and views in all standards of room are excellent so if the room you've booked is pretty much you're ideal budget you won't be disappointed so don't change. However, if you can easily manage to upgrade to a superior or presidential suite then you can enjoy breakfast in La Capula a la carte restaurant with full table service (fabulous!). Also tea coffee facilities and Bvlgari amenities and outdoor jacuzzi in presidential suite. Well worth it!
You will enjoy any room though, so don't worry about that.
We have stayed in various rooms and they have all been great and very quiet.
This is a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff.
I believe getting the best room with the best sea view which many block provide is better than a suite overlooking a busy and possibly noisy sea front. However try to ensure your room gets the afternoon sun on your balcony as not all Superior rooms do. The value of a good sea view superior room or suite exceeds any benefit of a sea front view in my experience. Super hotel worth visiting
