We are going to the Saint Nicholas on Friday and wanting to rent a car, I have looked on line bur find that other charges can be made when collecting the car, would you please if you don't mind tell me how you rented the car and the cost and did you have to pay any extra costs when collecting the car.
hello Edward we stayed in June and hired a car from reception I think it was just over a hundred euros for 5 days there weren't any extra charges we just had to make sure there was the same amount of fuel in it when we had to hand the car back as the insurance was included in the price hope that helps
We rented a car from rentalcarscom at the cost of only £137.00 for the week . this also included all insurances, the car comes with a full tank and you must return with a full tank, Please note the Corfu roads are not very good and the Corfu drivers are even worse
Hi I didn't hire a car but the costs were much cheaper hiring from the town and not through the rep or the hotel. The costs were substantially cheaper, by about 30%. Walk into town and check the offers out. enjoy
Hi Again Edward,
We also had 2 people insured on the Kings car hire (via Atlas Choice)
Hi Edward, We got a taxi from the airport, (24 euro ring's a bell in my mind). We hired a car via Atlas Choice on the internet prior to going. However, I did some research as to whom the actual hire firm would be ...and they are called Kings car and taxi hire. What we did was go back to the airport on the service bus (just walk down the hill from the St Nicolas and there is a bus every 15 mins (weekdays) and 20 mins (weekends). We then met up with a nice young woman who did the business with the car. We paid £160 for 12 days hire, it was a Citroen C3, not new but 100% efficient and reliable (and boy did we cover some miles, as our second week was at Kalami and we did Mt Pandokrator, Mirtossa Beach etc etc). We then dropped the car off at the airport on our departure. Btw, you go to the electric barrier and put a card in to open it...they will explain all that though....quite simple....you park it back where you picked it up from. It is full to full fuel too...which I prefer. Hope all this makes sense, I have my 3 year old grand daughter here at the mo...so is is not quiet...lol. Have a great time at the hotel, it is so relaxing and they are a lovely Greek family who own it and run it...nothing is too much trouble for them! Good luck and enjoy!
We hired a scooter, the arrangements were made through reception and were fine. Suggest you arrange the hire car in the same manner. The staff are very helpful .Enjoy
