Feeding the giraffe seems to be popular, but I felt that the extra money involved to do this, wasn't worth it. But to some people it would be great, so everyone has their likes and dislikes, so that's all that matters.
Yes they do with birds, emus and dingoes etc. However this zoo also exhibits a lot of the more exotic animals not always seen elsewhere. Well worth a visit.
However I would suggest that the best place to get close to Australian native animals would be Featherdale Zoo near Blacktown just west of Sydney. Here you can physically pet animals such as kangaroos, pythons etc. You can also have your photo taken cuddling a koala.
Just a few - there are dingos in an enclosure, plus kangaroos in a more open side, plus some frogs and lizards. But no native Australian birds. It's a nice zoo but if you want Australian animals then go to Taronga zoo if in Sydney, or Australia zoo if you'll be in the Brisbane area.
Dingo's and emu's.
Absolutely, this zoo is well worth a visit. One of the best I have been too.
