Can someone please explain why was the hotel over booked on 13th September resulting in no available rooms for several people who had bookings and were left without bed to sleep in and WHY did the manager fail to respond or apologise????
hotel rooms at britannia stockport were offered to you this was explained on the night this was not good enough night staff even went and cleaned a vacated room.
That's quite shocking. How did you book- travel agent, phone, online? You will have paperwork if you were booked in and if so take further action. Make sure you put it in writing and post recorded delivery stating what happened, with copies of your booking, what outcome you are looking for (within reason), and ask what went wrong. If this gets you nowhere, go to citizens advice or use resolver online. If you paid £100 or more on your credit card contact them who will refund under section 78 (?).
If you have no written confirmation then you have no comeback I'm afraid- as Judge Rinder says always get it on paper.
Get an answer from The Airport Inn Manchester staff and past guests.
