We only have time to either go to Antelope Island or Olympic Park. Which is better?
We went to Olympic Park in the Winter and it was fun to stand on top of the ski jump and see the skiers practicing aerials, plus seeing the bob sled go by (only 3 bob sled runs in N. America). So it is something that you can not see anywhere else. In the summer, you may be able to time it where you get to see the aerial ski jumpers go down the practice slope in to the swimming pool there. I have heard that it is pretty cool to see. as others have said you can go to the Olympic museum. if you do the Olympic park it is worth the tickets for the tour to learn about luge vs skeleton and bob sled and to go to the top of the ski jump. Park city is a ski resort and has nice places to eat.
We enjoyed both Antelope island is quite, sparce, small exhibits, and a driving loop. It's beautiful in it's own way and where you can see and get in the lake. Olympic park is busy with people, museum is free and so are some of the trials if they are having any you can check their website for activities and prices. Kids probably enjoy it more. Wed pick Olympic park. There are a lot fewer of those than scenic drives around a lake.
Antelope Island and Olympic Park are very different. Olympic Park is very interesting with a lot of interesting exhibits in their museum. You will also have the opportunity to see where several Olympic events took place. We were there in the winter so I'm not sure about all of the activities available at Olympic Park in the summer (zip lining, etc). I've not been to Antelope Island, but it appears that Antelope Island has more of the traditional outdoor activities.
We have not visited the Island but they appear to be 2 different types of activities. With the Olympic Park you are also close to Park City, to visit there.
On the Island, it would also be weather dependent.
Sorry I didn’t stay or visit both
