Smoky Mountain Opry Questions & Answers

Apex, North Carolina

Although listed separately, there is no difference in ticket price from front row through row F ($49.95). Sounds a little odd. Is there a preferred location? Will sitting front row worth it? Or will I be cranking my neck up?

Front row may be an awkward view for some of the performance. There is a lot of aerial performances in the 2017 show and I feel they would be hard to view from the front row. We sat in the middle of the front section dead center. Best seats in my opinion.

We sat about 6 to 8 rows back, stage left and had an excellent view of everything. Sitting in the front row would probably make it awkward to take in everything happening. I'd try to get seats several rows from the front.

We were sitting quite near the front but I wouldn't want to have been in the very front row

We sat front row and loved it!!! My husband and I both thought it was worth it and just happened to luck up on having seats up front. :)

We sat several rows back and had great seats. I don't like to be too close to the stage at any show.

Answering my own question -- We got seats on Row B. Yep it was the 2nd row from front!! If I had to do it over again I would choose something further back. Here's why:

a) By being a few rows behind you won't miss anything. The auditorium is well laid out and I don't think there are too many bad seats. By moving back you may possibly save a few dollars on the ticket price.

b) The show we attended used two large screens that are on either side of the stage in addition to the live (on stage) performance. When you are all the way in the front you have to swivel your head either side to see what's on the screen.

All that said it was a great show.
