My daughter grew up eating at the Melting Pot and it was her favorite restaurant whenever we vacationed in Myrtle Beach. That said she was pretty quiet and respectful and was always very careful using the fondue forks. We always made a big deal about it being fancy and dressing up so she knew the score going in. It's not a place for kids that are wild and out of control. It's expensive and you have to consider the other patrons. Use your best judgement.

I am going to say yes, but it also depends on the children's. There will be very hot broth or oil at the table, you or they need to cook the food. If I had young kids I would not take them if they were under the age of 10-12 years.
