How long should we plan to see a night of a thousand candles event. No children just adults.
Never been at Christmas time only Spring, summer and fall when it's totally awesome!
I would say a few hours. We went the night of the tree lighting..... not sure maybe they do that every night. Lol!
Order you tickets online . This event sells out. Show up at 5-5:30 (dusk), traffic will be busy. To enjoy all of the things offered. Plan on staying till 10-10:30 at least. The lights are just the biggest part. The live music areas, local artist showcases, shopping, eating, hot cocoa, wines, so much more!!! Sit and enjoy the live music , usually 2-3 areas with different types. Just beautiful.
About 3 hours if you walk at easy pace.
I do hope you have your tickets as they are sold out 12/15 thru 12/22.
Minimum of an hour if you just want to see the lights. If you want more time to visit each display, 2 to 3 hours. They light the Christmas tree at 5:30 PM if you want to see that. If you want to buy (a very expensive) dinner there. Plan for longer. We went, as a couple from 6pm til 8pm. Perfect for us.
Takes me about 3 hours. It's SO beautiful! There is music and food also. Hope the bagpipe lady is there again. She was incredible! There's a lot to see and I like to really take it all in. I like getting there by around 5PM to avoid the major rush of traffic. ENJOY!!!
The event runs from 3:30 P.M. until 10 P.M. each day. When we attend the event, we try to get to the gardens around 4:30 P.M. to avoid long lines of traffic and to see the park staff lighting the candles in the basins.
