Is there a hop-on hop-off shuttle around the gardens?
As everyone mentioned there is the shuttle and the excursions (which are $8 each, I think - 2 by bus and 1 by boat), but within the sections they also have adult sized strollers available for free.
The shuttle departs the Welcome Center every 20 minutes and stops at the Low Country Center and the Zoo/Butterfly House.
There is a shuttle that runs between major attractions. However, with those areas themselves there is still quite a bit of walking.
There is a shuttle to various parts of the gardens but the is still a considerable amount of walking in order to enjoy the gardens.
There are scheduled shuttles that take visitors to various places of interest around the huge plantation.
There is a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. The different trails/activities are not very far apart - 1/4 to 1/2 mile. We took the shuttle a few times, but mostly walked.
Yes, there is a shuttle, but unless you are disabled or out of shape, the walking is do-able. We walked the entire park and the average age in our group was 60.
