Hi folks, looks like a fantastic place you have there by the great reviews!
My wife and I would like to spend our 45th wedding anniversary "somewhere nice" and was hoping you could fill me in with prices etc. for Mar 1 to the 8th.
Do we need transport from your unit or do bikes do the job!
My wife has NEVER ridden a bike but I'm sure she will learn as she was a great water skier!
We are flexible with the dates though. E nice if our day (4th March) was with you but not critical.
Any further info you can provide would be much appreciated!
Cheers
Ian and Robyn FISCHER

Hi Ian,
Just saw your reply now.
We provide all transfers to and from airport, and out at night to local restaurants. They will bring you back.
We catch salmon off the beach, 400 metres walk. Also, occasionally kingfish off the rocks at the end of the beach. Garfish, and bluefish in the lagoon. Local boats take people out for kingfish, wahoo etc.
Yes, we take bookings from Oxley travel also.
Yes, flights with Qantas link only.
You probably won't need a car, our units are not on the steeper hills, like some others.
Walking is fine also.
Do have a look at our website. I tried to give a link yesterday, but TripAdvisor didnt allow it.
Phone at home is 0265632304

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the inquiry. Yes, we can do those dates1-8 March
The rate is $420 a night, but we are happy to discount to $400 a night. You can check out our website for availability if you wish.
Bike hire is easy, we will take you there. You don't need to book that. Small cars are for hire, but will need to be booked in advance, let us know if you need that. It is a flat, easy walk from our units to the beach, but most people hire bikes .
March is a great time to come.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards, Peter and Sharon.
Thanks for the speedy reply Sharon, much appreciated!
Sounds a good price and fits our dates perfectly, 45 years wow! We are both pretty fit for our ages and don't mind walking if we have to.
I'm a mad fisherman, could I toss a line in near your place with a chance of catching something do you think?
Basically we like just relaxing, swimming, cooking in the sun, wining and dining and mooching about taking in the sights
Your unit does seem nice and central so the car hire is arbitrary I guess but I've been told there aren't many roads and tourist sights are all fairly close by. Is your place remote or close to restaurants etc, as in a couple of miles etc.
So I guess Qantas is the only carrier ex Sydney. I'm being lazy not checking but is it an early/late arrival into LHI and how do we get to your place from the airport?
If we elect to use the bikes does that permit us to see all over the island or do you think a small car would be better? Guess they are expensive no doubt?
If you can clarify some of the above I'll make a book now!
Do you rent through a bunch called Oxford Travel by the way? My wife thought she saw your unit on their website?
Thanks again
Ian
