Is the resort kid friendly or more adult oriented? We have 3 kids aged 2, 10 and 13 and I'm wondering if they're going to be bored since I don't see too many activities that are included. Is there a fee for all water sports?
Hi Lisa, We have a pool and playground that are great for kids. We do offer boat rentals but the best rental for the little kids would be to take them out on a power boat. We are geared towards both kids and adults. Give us a call and we can go over more resort features! 570.226.4388
We didn't stay with kids. It seemed very kid friendly however. Not sure about fees for rentals. Lots of activities in the immediate area. Hope this helps.
Although I would say yes, it is kid-friendly, I certainly wouldn't go as far to say it's geared around kids. I went at end of April with a 1YO and a 5YO and there was a small playground, and they dipped their feet in the lake and that was about it. I'm sure in the summer they can enjoy the lake more, and go in the pool, but there aren't really any 'activities' like there would be at a real resort. We spend the day at a zoo nearby.
Definitely kid friendly. I haven't stayed in the warm weather months but I believe they have bbq's and family events. Seems like a great family place.
Definitely saw lots of kids there… There is a pool on site and many activities in the nearby areas. There are some fees, but I am not sure what is free and what you have to pay for.
Yes, kids are welcome. In addition to the lake area, there is a pool for the older two children. I'm not sure of the depth of the pool itself. There are kayaks and sea-doos available as well. We frequent Silver Birches about twice weekly, as we have our pontoon docked there. There are families enjoying the lake and it's amenities on a consistent basis. As for your question regarding fees for water sports, I would direct you to the Registration area, where you can speak directly to one of the friendly hosts/hostesses who can more accurately answer your question.
