We are a party of 6 from WA and will be on shore from a cruise ship (Voledam) docking at port Lincoln on Friday, 13th November.
We like to do a factory tour and have lunch at your place during our short stop.
One in our party is on wheelchair . Will that be a problem on the tour.?
Hi Lawrence, our behind the scenes factory tour and our retail store are both wheelchair friendly (there is a wheelchair ramp into the store) however we do not have disable toilets available at this stage. We are a 5 minute taxi drive from the dock. There will be free shuttle buses stopping at The Fresh Place.
The Fresh Fish Place
Thank you Craig, Thank you Mike.
You will need transport to get to this place . If you want to experience beautifully cooked fish then make every effort. It will be worth it . Mike
Thank you all for your feedback. I now have more options to consider regarding a seafood lunch during our short stay at Port Lincoln. Much appreciated.
Hi there is disabled access to the shop and tour but no disabled toilets. Hope that helps enjoy port Lincoln seafood capital of Australia
I am also disabled but walk with the aid of a walking frame . There is a step at the front which will be an issue . I think you may be better at the Port Lincoln Hotel as then you will be in the town.
The Fresh food factory is not with in Walking distance of the centre of town .
I suggest heading to The Marina Hotel or Sharkys Bar at the Port Lincoln Hotel. If you are docking at the main jetty you might need to arrange transport to reach these areas - otherwise it is possible to walk but its a bit of a hike. Regarding dining, go for the local seafood, Coffin Bay Oyster, Kingawook mussels and King George Whiting.
Another really nice spot is Delgioarnos but need transport.
hope that helps.
