Is it worth paying extra for VIP ?
No don’t think so. Great viewing regardless
Sorry for the late reply. It was sold out when I. We were fine without it but if I was going again I would try for it.
Hi. I bought VIP because it was an anniversary present for my wife. For that we had private seating with our own table in the cabin on the upstairs deck. We were given a beverage on arrival - your choice wine, beer... We had a lovely lady looking after us (all the staff were nice) and at lunch time we were given first go at the buffet. The day we went was not busy and 1st go at the buffet didn't mean much but I could imagine it is very advantageous on a busy day. Sitting inside at your own table on the journeys over and back was nice but I preferred to be outside anyway enjoying the fresh air. The downstairs cabin is quite nice also. As soon as you reach the whales everyone is out on deck regardless.
You don't have to pay for VIP to have a good time.
Hi,i personally didn't know there was v.i.p.tickets for the trip and I certainly didn't see anybody getting any better treatment than us and we've been on it twice,we wouldn't pay anymore as we were more than happy with what we got, definatly wouldn't pay anymore as it's expensive enough at around $135.00,but well worth it.
We didn't do the VIP but were still very happy indeed with the day.
Yes , most certainly. VIP's only permitted to the upper viewing deck. You get First crack at the buffet for lunch , you get a drink and some chocolate , and most importantly , you get Terri , who is the VIP only personal staff member who spoils you and is a host of information.
We went with the non VIP and we were happy. I think VIP had lunch first and drinks were included.
No. You'll love it irrespective of being VIP or not.
We did not have the VIP service and our day on the water was fantastic.
We paid for VIP tickets but my friends, on their first trip, paid for an ordinary ticket and had been very happy with the service. It is very professionally organised.
