They don't have their own spotter plane but they use a company that spots for them and others. I think the skipper said 3 boats share the one spotter plane.

Not sure if it's their own but a spotter plane is in the air and radios back to the skipper when they spot a Whale Shark. We swam with 5 different Whale Sharks.
They definitely have a spotter plane. Not sure if it is dedicated, but only one boat per whale shark. There are rules as to how long a boat can stay with a whale shark. We got eight swims so was satifpsfied with the service
