At the Carlsen Center, Johnson County Community College, there are amps on the stage as well as suspended. Many acts seem to think that their music has to bounce off your chest for it to be a great show. Years ago we went to Cirque at the Kemper Arena and the sound was so loud my husband tore up his handkerchief for us to stuff in our ears - to no avail - we left at intermission. We've been reluctant to see anything at Sprint Center for fear it is the same way. Comments please!
I have been to several venues. BOK in Tulsa seems to be the loudest. I always take earplugs. I have been to 3 concerts at the sprint center and sat in different locations each time and did not. Red my earplugs for any of the events!!
I (MLpapa) would just skip it
Go drinking down town
If you are going to a concert, I would invest in ear plugs. We went to Eric Church and we asked the information booth for a pair which they provided. Music can be loud.
It depends on what you see. I've seen NCAA events that were fine and Tool, Roger Waters, Bob Seger & Foo Fighters concerts that were LOUD. I brought ear plugs just to be smart.
The only time I think you would have a problem is if you were setting near the speakers in front of the band otherwise you should be fine. I haven't had any problems with the concerts being too loud.
