The Rose Garden is completely accessible by wheel chair or any device, and is flat. There are shaded areas to sit or rest and lots of lovely flowers, roses and other varieties. There is also a public restroom there.
Yes, I have seen people in wheel chairs and walkers as well as canes. Last evening there was an open event - Movie in the park, and people were in wheel chairs there. You can access the park from London Road, just below Superior Street between 14th AVE E and 15th Avenue E. There is a gradual bridge that goes across the train tracks into the park, and then it is all paved with up and down surfaces. It would be best to have an assistant with the person in the wheel chair if they have any difficulty with sloping trails. It's a lovely place to go, just for a stroll.
