Why do you list the wrong website for the museum? The correct hours are now Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm

Tony B. Sorry for the confusion, my comments were not directed to you but were meant for the people in charge of Trip Advisor. We have tried to update the information they are giving out with no success. We do know that the West Quoddy Head Light is in Lubec, Maine not in Rockland. One of our favorite lights!!
Number 1: I NEVER listed ANY hours of operation in my review nor did I mention anything about a website. Perhaps a lesson in proofreading might serve you well in the future before trying to correct someone (see below)! And, since we're being all technical, the red stripped lighthouse for the museum's photo is not in Rockland, ME either. It's the West Quaddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec, ME, and it's located well north of Rockland at the Canadian border. It's also the farthest eastern point in the USA.
My Review I wrote:
There's a minimal charge to go here, but it's worth it. It's got many types of lighthouse lenses here. Some are absolutely huge! They have a gift shop. It's easy to get to. There's a lot of lighthouse memorabilia here other than lenses. It takes about 30-60 to go through the museum. The Owls Head Lighthouse is only a few miles from here as is the Rockland Breakwater Light. They do have restroom facilities.
