Yes we have quiet corner rooms and if you are a light sleeper we do provide ear plugs for our guests. We try to make our guests stay the best it can be.
My wife's family lives in Freeport, and we visit several times during the year. We stay at either the Country Inn & Suites or the Hampton downtown. Both are good, but we prefer the Hampton. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We were in Room 700. The only problem was that the airconditioner was in line with the bed, and blew on us, which was uncomfortable. I took a towel and hung it over the louvres so that the air blew down and not across the bed, which was much better. The staff indicated that this is an issue for all "00" rooms, e.g., 200, 300, etc.
I did not sleep well there. Heating/cooling units are old and very noisy besides taking up floor and window space. Elevators are also VERY old, small and kind of scary. Excellent restaurant in same building that you can get to from the lobby but our room didn't have a fridge for leftovers. (we were told by front desk about half their rooms do not - a room with was not available at the time). Typical GREAT Hampton breakfast with friendly attendants. Poor parking.
