What is the most conveniente way to reach you from the train station in Venice ?
Sorry I just saw you were asking how to get to Villegas de Lido from the vaporetto stop.
You can walk, take a bus or get a taxi.
It was so hot when we arrived that we took a taxi from the stop - it's expensive tho €15
You can get a bus but I'm not sure what number. The only issue with the bus is you need to go to a shop to buy your tickets before you get on. You can't pay the driver.
To walk will take you 10 - 15 minutes.
The quicker vaporetto is the Ali Laguna as that goes around the outside of the centre of Venice only stopping at Murano then the Lido.
The other option vaporetto takes you up the grand canal with multiple stops. It's more scenic but very busy with all the stops.
You can get tickets at the airport. It's not expensive.
A private water taxi is a real luxury but worth it for your first time in Venice. It's about €120 each way but you can get it for a bit less if you pre book online.
Have fun. Venice is amazing
There is a public boat from right in front of the train station, a vaporetto, to SME Lido. That is the right way to get there if you're not bringing a car.
You need to take a water taxi from Venice
Private taxi was $120 euros for 8 people but you could probably take a regular water bus to Lido
You can walk from the station to lido a lovely walk
Recommend that you rent a bike if time permits and take a tour of the beautiful island
Thank you. I do have a reservation for september 30 under the name of Landeiro.
How much will I pay for the private taxi or for the bus taxi?
How far is the Lido stop to the hotel?
Can I have early checkin on september 30?
Thank you, Apio Antunes
You can get a boat bus directly to from station to the lido stop.
A private water taxi is more convenient but more expensive (but an amazing way to see Venice).
Then taxi from the boat stop: you can walk to the hotel, or bus, but convenience was the question
