does anyone know what is involved in the two hour beach walk given by barefoot beach volunteers?
You just sign up and it’s free. Sometimes the free seminars or events don’t take place if they don’t have a volunteer to lead it.
We walked the trails ourselves and saw some gopher turtles and their burrows and enjoyed the flora and fauna. We were not aware of the beach walk you mention. It would have been interesting to hear the information that the volunteers could provide.
We didn’t take the tour but enjoyed walking the trail all the way out to Wiggen’s Pass. I’m sure the tour will take you along the trail discussing the history, foliage and wildlife native to the park. It’s really a beautiful place to visit.
