Is the café on the garden level? What kind of food do the serve, and how reasonable are the prices? Thank you.
The café is on the first level . It has a salad bar sandwiches and usually one or two entrées . It's moderately priced particularly the entrées and the salad bar is by the weight.
There is a nice little cafeteria with a very good salad bar and they usually offer a gourmet sandwich or similar. They sell beer and wine, too. Not cheap -- LA prices. But good. It is really only a place to go if you're visiting the Disney Hall for a concert. Otherwise, there are better options like Otium, on the other side of the Broad museum.
the cafe is sort of on the ground level. inside the theter. i find for the tpe of food, the prices are too expensive. however, the is a really fine dining restaurant within tthe complex. it is quite expensive but worth the money. i would reeather spend the oney here than spend the money in the cfe for food that isnt so good.
if you are just looking for a sandwih or a salad, wlk down the street to the subway or to the baks oriental food. they are both good for the price and many of the artists got to have a bite there before their performances.
but splurge, and make a reservation at the fine dining restaurant and eat your heat out.o
yes, the cafe is on the garden level. The prices are average, about $10 for appetizers, entrees about $20, sandwiches and salads under $10, and pastries/cookies under $5.
The café is on the street level (the garden is on the roof). I'd say the cusine is leans on the Mediterranean side with some modern american cusine peppered in. Last time I was there I had baked fish with steamed veggies. Priced around $12-15.
Check their website for menu and prices (tripadvisor won't let me post it here)
Very nicer food and reasonable for the area. Also the convenience can't be beat.
there are various outlets for food throughout the hall. some are moderately priced others are expensive as are all outlet usually at all venues of this type of hall. the very excellent restaurant on the main level is (patina) is very expensive but very worth it and requires a reservation.
