Aquarium of the Pacific Questions & Answers

Hi! We are considering doing a whale watching tour at the aquarium in a couple weeks. Will I be able to safely bring my 2 year old, or is there an age restriction on the tours? What can we expect?

The whale watching tour would be fine for a 2 year old - the downstairs indoor seating area is enclosed (no chance of falling overboard!) and has huge windows so you can still see really well.

I believe that you can safely bring your 2 year old to the aquarium and they would enjoy it. BUT I don't know anything about the whale watching tour, that may be completely different. Sorry

We arrived first thing in the morning, with only 3 couples before us. If it is on a weekday (with kids still in school), they arrive in bus loads. The aquarium has staging areas, roped off so the students can sit down.

Take your time, and the students will skirt around you. In fact, as i had in my last review, the students were 10 times better than the ones from Allentown, PA.

strollers are allowed, and there is an elevator is in the back.

try getting there as the doors are opening up.

Lunch? There is a cluster of shops just one block away. Behind the shop is a pizza place with some outside tables, a view of the ocean, along with some moored boats. If I recall correctly, some of those boats were rentals. The boats stay tied up, but what a way to enjoy the afternoon/overnight.

Sorry but this is something I'm unaware. I'm aware of whale watching on the coast in Palace Verdes. U don't always see a whale. Def call the Aquarium.

I am not aware of a whale watching tour. Maybe that is something new or connected to another tour.

We do not know the age restrictions on the whale watching trip, but everyone is welcome at the aquarium. Enjoy!
