Hi David - Hopeful you can help me with a question about The Shore Club in T&C. I am taking my family on a
vacation and there are 2 children involved. ( 6 and 10).... and 6 adults.
I would like to know if there is enough for kids to do there. If you saw any children there or on the beach etc. Going the 3rd week of April. I know you didn't mention children in your review but no one has so far. The property looks amazing for us adults, but need to consider the little ones.
Thanks - Steve
Hi Steve! The reason we didn't mention our kids who are by the way, 31, 29 and 25), is Provo is the only place we don't take them! Mom and Dad only special place.
When we were there May 2017, the resort had just opened (Dec 2016), and did not have a lot of guests. Honestly we MIGHT have seen 4 children the entire week we were there.
Your wife will LOVE the property. Its gorgeous!!! Honestly, if you've got grandparents of family to leave the kids with, leave the kids.
Several resorts on Grace Bay (the #1 beach in the world and on the other side of Provo) has kids clubs. They are The Palms, Somerset, Seven Stars and Grace Bay Resort.
The Palms is the sister resort of The Shore Club and has a shuttle that runs between the 2 properties so you can use the amenities at both properties. Its based on occupancy levels at both properties.
FYI, The Palms is where we normally stay (8th trip to The Palms this October since 2010).
Let me know if you have any other questions.
It is a great place for children. There are several pools, the staff were wonderful with the children, the beach and amenities there were great and there is a children’s program. We did not utilize the children’s program but we did have four children and two teenagers with us. They enjoyed themselves throughly.
