Yes in one way as there seemed to be a few others on the mountain. However, it really depends on your walking experience and personal skills and confidence. If you would be happy to climb given changeable weather then give it a go- you can always turn back or tag onto someone else. It is a mountain walk so until the top section you'd be fine following the coloured symbols. The top section is more a shearer convex that is very steep, so if you are happy stepping onto smaller rocks with a bit of a sense of exposure, particularly on the way down when it is harder to pick out a worn route, you'll be fine. Going up this section, it's harder to see the worn painted symbols and impossible to see them on the way down. On the positive side, you just pick a line up and you will reach the top and the opposite coming down:) This last section is only about 40 minutes anyway. So, yes, give it a go, pick your day ( weekends you'll always have others on the hill) and have fun:)
There are usually quite a few hikers in the area so you should be safe.
Would suggest you take plenty of liquid and a fully charged mobile phone just as backup in case of any emergencies.
Actually, my daughter and family has been there several times. They warn me that the sidewalks in the town itself are treacherous. Even a footbridge they had transversed in the past had been washed away.
Walking at night is to be done with caution.
