I understand this is a beach landing, do you step into water or directly onto the beach. I need to advise friends about footwear accordingly. Also, does getting in and out of the boat require a great deal of agility? Again, so I can advise friends accordingly.
Agree with earlier answer. Easy to walk in, brush off sand, and slip shoes back on. As the spider monkeys tend to greet you, though, make sure you have belongings secured while you work with shoes. Also... No water bottles and do not apply bug repellent to arms or hands or you won't be able to tough the monkeys.
Yes you have to go into the water, knee-deep from the end of the boat, but the captains are use to it. You can go barefoot and take your shoes with you. On the beach you can put on your shoes.
