You can definitely visit not only this place but also the best & sacred & blessed places on earth, Grand Mosques of Mecca & Madinah and no force on earth can prevent you from this, provided you believe in one & only Creator Allah & Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon him) as his last messenger. In simple words become a Muslim. It is as simple as that !

Anasfk, I have been interested in Islam for a long time and am studying its history. I would like very much to visit some of the places where Mohammed (pbuh) lived. There seems to be a lot of misinformation being spread in the West about the religion which is very sad.

I believe that only Islamic religion followers (muslims) are allowed to enter mecca. since jabal noor and hira cave comes under this I think it's not allowed for non Muslims to enter. but please confirm as I may not be exact.

No. It's not possible. Non-muslims can enter any islamic sites anywhere in Saudi Arabia except Makkah and Madina. It's in the Islamic law that reserves the these two cities as a sanctuary for believers alone.
