hi how far is it to the airport.roughly how much for a taxi pleae
Take public transit from airport into the city. Watch out for cabs trying to rip off tourist. The train didn't cost that much. You can bargain wth the cabs. Tho I'd stay away from them. Train to the city and walk to your hotel. They tried to charge us 500 baht from the train station in the city. I said no. They brought it down to 400baht. I still said no. We walked. It was not that far at all! Always trying to scam. However the hotel itself will set up transportation for you!!!!! We booked last min so we didn't know. We used it to take us back to the airport was fairly cheap. The hotel was great. I'm sure they would set something up for you. Sorry for late response I never saw this.
For us, it took to the Don Mueang International Airport around 45 min (around lunch time 12-1pm) and it really depends on the traffic. Because we didn`t want to negotiate with locals, we ordered it in the hotel for 500 BTH but as it was mentioned, you will be able to get it cheaper.
It does take around 40min.
But it depends on when during the day. During peak hour it could extend your journey considerably.
If the driver doesnt want to put the meter on, then agree on a price that is no more than 400Bath.
Both case if you ask to take the motorway you will have to pay the toll which cost 125Bath for all 3 of them.
