Hi, would love to visit these ruins. I have had double knee replacement so climbing may be an issue. Must I climb alot to see these ruins?
No, the ruins are accessible by a path that runs at a good gradient. To full explore the ruins you might struggle up and down some of the steps but from what I remember you can walk around them on a flat surface
I'm in my 70s and have had 3 hip replacements, which I know are different from knees, but had no trouble here. The climb here was the easiest of any of the ruins visited.
You should be fine as long as you can walk up normal stairs. Some structures have larger stairs, but knee replacements are high quality these days! Enjoy!
I guess it depends how long ago your surgeries were. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot, but not strenuous. Once you're inside, you'll be fine. Obviously, going to the top of structures might be an issue, but you'll be able to see most everything from the ground. Even if you want to get up top, I'd say if you take it slow you'd be alright. It's worth trying at least in my opinion.
