Wielka Krokiew - Ski Jumping Hill Questions & Answers

Andrychow, Poland

We are going to the Ski Jumping World Championship January 20 thru 22. My question is, is there a shuttle bus from downtown to the jumping hill ? How long a walk is it?

We booked ours through our hotel. I think it's also bookable from the tourist information office.

Lucky you! Yes there are shuttle buses, but you'll need to pre book. You can walk but it depends on how far away your accommodation is from the hill. We took the shuttle out and walked back. I don't remember the distance but it is manageable if you're reasonably fit. Hope this helps.

Public Transports there are very few and traffic is caotic due to a unique road going up and down in the valley. Probably in winter (I was there in summer) and during the big sport events transport service are increased.

Take also care because Zakopane is a very diffused village an the distance of the hotels to the jumping venue can be considerable long. In any case most of the hotels have their own transport service reserved to the clients.

Enjoy!!!
