Is the beach easy to reach, or is it steep to access. Thanks
It is easy to access by car and there are bus routes that go to Wembury. The lanes are narrow but cars don't go too fast as a result.
The car park is a decent size and won't be problematic for the car.
Wembley beach is a national trust site so car parking fee applies during summer months at daytime.
The walk down to the beach from here involves the slope with broad steps and is fairly steep but if I remember correctly there is a handrail on one side. Otherwise you can walk back down the road from the car park and just before you reach the end, turn left to cross a little bridge over grass and a stream, there's a path that leads to the beach which is a very easy walk, the slope is far gentler, but it is a bit of a detour and double-back.
Yes it's quite small though but the cafe is lovely and loos clean. No dogs allowed
The beach is quite steep to get to it has staggered steps some of which are quite steep too.
a good sized car park with ameneties very close to the beach.
Hi, the first beach is really easy to get to, the further beach for dogs is along the cliff and you can find less steep paths onto to it further along the cliff.
Easy to reach...easy access....lovely place!
It is easily accessible
It is very easy to reach with a car park on the beach front (National Trust parking fees). A few steps takes u down to the beach with a foot bridge to take pushchairs, baggage etc across the stream.
Hope this is helpful.
