Hi, I certainly did not see any but there is no way they would be allowed in the house as it is full of beautiful displays and furniture. The grounds too are very well cared for so I doubt it. Not all dog owners would take appropriate care I am afraid.

As I attended for a night function there were no dogs present. I would assume that dogs are not allowed as it is not a public garden and could not imagine dogs in the mansion.

What a great question! As the owner of two dogs, I didn't notice any signs that prohibited dogs. However, there seem to be so many rules surrounding dogs in public places that I suspect that dogs are not welcome. It was a glorious day when I visited and there were no pooches in the gardens or the cafe and I generally spot a dog when I am away from my own. You'll think I'm mad but this is 100% true. I did have a lovely conversation with a very stylish lady who was waiting to meet friends at the cafe with her....African parrot in an enormous cage. It was a bird owners "play date" and apparently the birds loved it. I can tell you that I was mighty tempted to miss my tram and witness that!
