we stayed on the beach front wing and yes the setup is perfect for a family. 2 rooms (each w bathroom) connected in such a way that you can shut the door the outside hallway but leave open the doors to your rooms - I.e. there is a little foyer area between the rooms. works out great for families.

When you say gold floor- do you mean a floor for elite status? If so, there isn’t an elite floor and there isn’t a concierge lounge. I’m sure there are connecting rooms available but you need to talk directly with the hotel for that room type.

I wish I could help. However, call the hotel or email them, they are very responsive and helpful!

Yes. I believe the top two floors have connecting family suites.

The beach is awesome, year round.

When you say "gold floor" are you referring to Marriott club level floor? This hotel does not have a club level or special floors. Like Julianne suggested, I would call the hotel. They really are very accomodating.

We were a family of 5 that had two nearby rooms (2 queen beds and large bathroom & lanai in each) on same floor in beach wing. Quite spacious. Some rooms connect I believe but none available for dates we requested. Suggest you contact hotel directly to find the best solution for your family, they are quite gracious and accommodating. Good luck!
