I read recent reviews about waiting for slower hikers
and getting cold. I am wondering if the guides are required to keep the group together?
Hi there, The guides are really good at allowing for people to walk at their own pace. The group can spread out and generally there will be 1 guide toward the front of the group and 1 toward the back. Sometimes the faster walkers may need to wait for the group to catch up but it generally works itself out without becoming an issue. At lunch stops the lead guide will boil some water for hot drinks etc so people can keep warm. I hope this helps. Cheers,
