Radisson Blu Hotel, Lisbon Questions & Answers

Hawick, United Kingdom

Does anyone know if they have to book the shuttle before we go? Our travel agent has it on our documents, but reading the reviews, it looks as if they don't run a lot?

There are plenty of taxis available, so I would use them instead of the shuttle.

I don't really know if travel agents can book the transer for you...or not.

In the worst case scenario, call the hotel from the airport. There are several public telephones in the arrivals hall.

In my case in particular, I called the hotel well before flying to Lisbon and was told that I had to call. I did, told them what we were wearing and in a few minutes the van was picking us up

My experience is this hotel does not offer a shuttle form the airport, only to the airport. The shuttle to the aiport only runs for a few hours in the morning--I am thinking it is 6:30 to noon.. If you have a very early flight, such as 7:00 AM you will need to call an Uber or Taxi. The same applies for a later afternoon flight. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, put your name on the list for the day and time you need to return to the airport. If you use Uber, it works very well in Lisbon. If you want a Taxi from the airport to the hotel, you will have to queue at the airport and the line can be long. Our Taxi cost us 10 Euros and our Uber ride was 5.00 Euors.

If you want the shuttle to pick you up at the airport when you arrive, call the hotel as soon as you arrive. The hotel is close by and you won't have to wait long.

Just book the shuttle when you check in. They run from 6:00 or 6:30 am on a regular basis.

The hotel shuttle is a bit hit and miss and operates as a very limited service.

The 783 bus runs from the airport to Campo Grande / Avenue dos Brasil, which is about a five minute walk from the hotel. The fare is €2.80.

Allow a little bit of extra time if you need to get to Terminal 2, as you will have to take an airport shuttle from the main airport building (Terminal 1) to Terminal 2. The free airport shuttle is frequent and the journey is about five minutes.

The shuttle is free, however, they only go to the airport if they have guests to go to the airport or need picking up.

My advice is either send them an email telling them at what time you due to land or ring them when you land it takes only 5-10 to get to the airport.

They are very helpful.

Thay run until 11am and, yes, you have to book in advance. But a cab from the airport is just 6 Euros -- I´d rather take a cab, as I did.
