How many days are the cooking course? When are they run & prices please
Our courses are normally composed of single lessons, but we could figure out a formula that’s more complete if you book two or more consecutive days.
Each lesson is 4/5 hours long and we can look at several recipes:
Handmade pasta course: We’ll prepare typical italian fresh egg pasta, ravioli, Bolognese ragu meat sauce, bruschetta and tiramisu. Once done cooking, we’ll all eat together, Surely our favorite experience.
Tuscan first dishes course: We’ll teach you how to make a traditional tuscan entrée of your choice among the following:
1) Pappa al pomodoro, a typical soup made with bread and tomatoes
2) Ribollita, a tuscan soup made with seasonal vegetables that we can pick directly from our own garden, if it’s the right time of the year.
3) Spelt (aka hulled wheat) soup, made with the ancient grain and delicious tomato sauce
This option too includes the preparation of bruschetta and a dessert (tiramisu or other).
Complete Menu: we’ll study how prepare a complete tuscan meal.
Appetizer: bruschetta and liver paté crostini
Entrée: ragu sauce pasta or one of the other entrées described above
Main course: baked pork fillet or chianti flavored baked chianina (italian beef) fillet
The first two courses cost 100€ per person for groups of up to 4 participants or 90€ per person for groups of 6 to 10 participants.
The "complete menu course" costs 130€ per person
Wine is included in every option
We suggest you book the date (or dates) you prefer as soon as you can, if you already know the period of your stay in Italy.
Thank you for taking an interest. We hope we’ll have a chance to host you here at Montese Cooking Experience.
