Hello!! How much $ should you bring with you for souvenirs?
The cheese factory only accepted cash. The balsamic place accepted credit cards. Other than that, there was nothing to purchase.
I'm pretty sure we used cash only. We spent about $25 on a huge chunk of cheese (maybe 2 pounds?) and approx $40 on 2 bottles of balsamic vinegar (one medium aged bottle and then a second bottle of fairly new stuff which they consider a condiment). Of course it will cost you more if you want to buy the really high quality aged stuff. I think a handful of people bought some prosciutto too.
Depends on how much you can take back to your country & you want to buy.
Cheese factory cash only & balsamic vinegar place takes credit card, you can buy prosciutto but I can't remember if they accepted credit card.
You can buy cheese, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto. They take cash or credit cards.
If it's quality parmigiana, prosciutto or balsamic you are looking for you will be able to buy various degrees of aged product, quality takes time.... you will learn all about this on this trip, 100 euro will get you enough parmigiana, Parma and balsamic to bring home.... if you want more I believe you can purchase it online.
