Hi there. You know, I didn't think to ask - but my guess would be no. We stood around watching other people for a while to work out how to order and where to eat etc. Then we ended up asking the locals who were there an spoke english what the various pintxos were - if you are adventorous and don't have allergies, then I would just plunge right in. Everyting was good!

You will get understandable descriptions but you can see the pintos for yourself

I don't think so. For tapas, you see virtually everything displayed on the bar. There are a couple of waiters that speak a little English and can help.

I believe there is by request. We speak Spanish but I do recall most places speaking enough english. The chalkboard menu 'behind' the food by the bar is just the menu of the item out. The small chalkboards in the middle on the posts have the bigger plates. This makes it pretty easy to order since you can see everything and point.

No, the menu is very simple: steak sold by weight, side orders of tomatoes, padron peppers and the tortilla (limited). Staff can speak English.

The daily menu is written on boards and in Spanish only (if I'm not mistaken) but the standard menu available on the tables is in both languages. There's anyway at least one member of the staff who speaks English and can explain the tapas which are not described on the menu.
