Berlin Story Bunker Questions & Answers

Australia

I'm totally confused about whether there are tours of the bunker or not. The website says bunker tours are only for registered groups & cost € 200, however some recent reviews refer to guided tours of the bunker which appear to be open to the public (although there seems to be a lot of confusion between the ticket desk & the customers). Does anyone know the true situation re tours of the bunker?

We toured the bunker in June. For about €20 we got a guided tour of the lower floors of the bunker. The guide was very knowledgeable and told us many facts of the history of bunkers in Berlin generally and this one in particular. This was the bomb shelter for passengers and employees of the Anhalt train station (nearby). It is not Hitler's bunker. Very interesting tour. We did not include the museum, but spent about 1.5 hrs there.

There is tours in various languages throughout the day. This is not Hitler's bunker as his bunker was destroyed and is now a car park but you can tour the bunker which was built and used during ww2. We did this in April we went to the site and was told there was an English tour at 2 pm so we bought tickets I think about 8 euros and went back at 2 for the tour. There is also a small museum to look around which has an audio tour and is included in ticket price.

Hitler's bunker on the ground floor is only open for registered groups and cost 200€ but on the 1st floor, you have a bunker about Berlin's story and it's open all day.

We didn't get offered a guided tour only an audio handset. If there are tours then it should be offered. Reading all the boards was an overload of information and it seriously would have been an improvement with a guide. If this were the case then my review may not have been so harsh. However the response from management lying about the time I arrived and that I threatened him was very rude considering we didn't have any conversations with any staff and only saw 2 ladies who took our money! It seemed like sour grapes from a childish business owner who could not take constructive criticism!
