Novotel Paris Les Halles Questions & Answers

Ranked #395 of 1,803 Hotels in Paris
Bengaluru, India

Hello

I am planning to book Novotel les halles, but read in one of the forum posts that les Halles is a unsafe neighborhood. Is it so?

Can we walk in the night to get back to the hotel safely?

No worries on the neighborhood front for us, with kids aged 16 and 9. It is a terrific vibrant area, very well connected through the metro and rail lines, We enjoyed it!

Hi Vijay, We are an older couple and took our first trip out of the US in May 2017. Les Halles felt very safe for us. We walked everywhere, and just around the corner from the hotel is a brand new shopping mall, a wonderful old Catholic church and plenty of shops, restaurants and plazas. One evening we were enthralled with a huge flow of mostly younger people heading toward a central square just to hang out. We loved the location.

Hi Vijay, We are a family of 4 and found the area quite convenient. The latest we returned to the hotel was around 9pm and there was still light out. There were a lot of people around the restaurants/patios and it is a lively area. We did not feel unsafe at all.

As mentioned in my review, the Chatelet station is a hub and you can get just about anywhere in Paris from there.

Hope this helps.

Enjoy your trip!
