You say there is a tram station near the hotel. Can you remember what route number the tram was? We will be travelling in from the airport and hope to take the tram from the bus station to the hotel.
I'm sorry but I couldn't remember the route number. But you can find it on Google Maps, by searching the tram Map of Bordeaux.
Sorry I didn't read your question properly and thought it was Bordeaux railway station you were arriving at. I would email the hotel - they were very helpful when I did and answered the questions perfectly!
This is how I remember it ( but we did go in February - water under the bridge and all that!!). There's a tram ticket office in Bordeaux station. Line C runs from outside the station. Take it in the direction of Parc des Expositions and get off at Porte de Bourgogne. Then change to line A and get off at Meriadeck - the direction is either Le Hailland Rostand or Merignac Centre. You then follow the tram lines until you come to Rue Robert Lateulade and the Mercure Centre Ville is on the left hand side of the street. As I said - it was February and perhaps it would be as well to check either at the tran ticket office - or with the hotel. I emailed them and they gave me the info. Their email address is somewhere on the Mercure website for the hotel. Have a good holiday!!
