No lift but if you let them know they will put you ground floor if possible

Hi, I don't think that there is a lift - we stayed on 1st floor close to Reception (nb Breakfast served in Basement), and didn't see or need one.

No lift. Only the original stairs, which typical of the period get narrower towards the upper floors. If you intend to stay there, I recommend specifying a room at the front on the first floor, which has large windows looking out over Cartwright Gardens. But frankly, the management of this establishment is very mean with regard to small rooms and very limited breakfast times.
