Is the polar express train ride a round trip? I purchased tickets to this event but I'm left confused whether it's a round trip

Yes, Polar Express is certainly a round trip - with lots of the original movie characters to entertain (wait till you meet the conductor as he punches your golden ticket !!!), enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and sing songs enroute. The train ride itself is about 40-45 minutes long, returning to the start point where a short walk will take you to Santa's Village and the North Pole. Plan to spend a couple of hours at the North Pole and the Ice Cave after the train ride is finished so that you can see and participate in all the fun things there. And of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting to spend a few minutes with each and every child. Ken Tanner

Yes. The train travels all the way down the tracks then switches directions and comes back down again. Took my kids a few years back. It was well done at that time. They all enjoyed it
